The North Port High School Alliance Drumline is dedicated to rudimental percussion playing. It takes some great amount
of dedication and the love of playing to be on the line. The North Port High School Alliance Drum and Bugle Corps was
the first (and maybe only) drum and bugle corps in a high school setting, taking over the Marching Band's spot. With members
in top of the line drum and bugle corps..... such as Boston Crusaders, Teal Sound, and Kiwianis Kavaliers, the line tries
to be its best. With cadences from FSU's BIG 8 drumline, The Marching Illini, some of our students own written cadences, such
as "A Dollar short of Suck", "Groovin Beatz", and "Pickin Pickles", all using rudimental snare drumming, different tenor parts,
and insane bass licks. Some cadences are played that are well known as well, such as Agua Blanca (white water), KADENCE
(spiced version), and Ditty by the Blue Devils
Our drumline consists of the following:
Three Tenors
Four Snares
Four Basses
Three Cymbals
7 person Front Ensemble
all members of the drumline can read and understand melodic music
